About the Artist

Behind Viridian Days

Mallory grew up in Wilmington, NC and spent time abroad on the southern border of Mexico before returning to Wilmington later on with her husband Samuel to raise their family. The past years on the coast in the salt and sun have increased her love and appreciation for the ocean, from which she draws much of her inspiration for her work. She chose the name 'Viridian Days' to reflect her love for the color of the ocean and coastal living.

Being in a steady state of inspiration, Mallory has had a desire to translate the beauty of her surroundings into art from a young age. She is a maker who loves to work with her hands to create unique pieces that brighten interior spaces by reflecting the array of color and form found in nature.

Throughout Mallory's journey as an artist, she has been under the instruction of various artists in private classes and now continues improving her craft through independent study and practice.
